MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage a portfolio of clients
  • Daily correspondence with the clients regarding collection of information
  • Respond to client requests timely and effectively
  • Prepare and process accounting entries in the accounting system on behalf of clients
  • Document and file accounting transactions in an organized manner
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly debtor and creditor reconciliations
  • Handling accruals and pre-payments on invoices issued and received
  • Preparation of fixed asset register
  • Preparing management accounts and cashflow statements
  • End to end processing of company’s payroll
  • Prepare and process VIES and VAT returns as required, and ensure payments are paid on time
  • Ensure that all supporting documentation is properly prepared and archived
  • Cooperate with the other department in completion of client needs in financial reporting and tax assignments
  • Liaise with auditors and client during the audit process, and ensure all information is provided on a timely and accurate basis
  • Provide timely and accurate estimates for provisional tax returns, and review all clients on a periodic basis for changes in their tax position
  • Other relevant duties as assigned by team leaders and management
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • LCCI Higher or Intermediate Certificate in Accounting OR Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) qualification holder
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting and Finance, Economics, Mathematics or any other related field will be considered as an advantage
  • Ability to meet work related deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good personality with strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
  • Eager to constantly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
