On behalf of our client who are in the energy commodities industry, GRS are looking for an experienced Accountant. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working on accounts, bookkeeping, bank recs and budgeting etc. This is not a Managerial position, but ACCA/ACA Certification will be considered an advantage. You will be reporting to the CFO - all relevant applicants are welcome!
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Bookkeeping

Payroll and bonus calculations

Vat knowledge will be a plus
-
Treasury (invoices, payments, cash flow management, trade finance)

Monthly Management Accounts
-
Budgeting and cash flow forecasting
-
Weekly reporting assistance to the CFO

Bank reconciliations
-
Ad hoc reports requested by the CFO
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Previous solid accounting / finance experience is required
-
While ACA/ACCA qualification is not a prerequisite – it will be an advantage!

Good knowledge of Excel is a must
-
Systems: familiarity with E-soft system will be an advantage
-
Fluency in English
-
Ability to work under pressure, ability to work independently and ability to analyse/solve problems
