We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual, with experience in the financial services industry, for the position of an Accountant in a Forex company in Limassol. This person is going to work with and report to the Head of Finance. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in bookkeeping and payment management and will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing payments, and ensuring the company's financial processes are in compliance with regulations. The role requires attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping, including recording financial transactions and reconciling accounts.

Monitor accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.

Process invoices, manage payments, and track all financial transactions.

Prepare accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.

Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

Assist in preparing for audits and collaborating with external auditors.

Provide financial support and advice to management as required.

Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related role.

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices.

Experience with accounting software and basic knowledge of MS Excel

Ability to work independently

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy in record-keeping.

Good Communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
