DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Accurately record and process daily financial transactions related to our shipping operations.

Ensure all financial data is complete, correct, and up to date.

Collaborate closely with teammates to maintain and monitor accounting records.

Communicate with internal departments and external vendors to reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies.

Support the preparation of Statements of Account for vessel owners.

Assist with cash flow tracking and forecasting.

Perform regular bank reconciliations.

Contribute to the preparation of financial reports for internal use and decision-making.

Stay informed on shipping regulations, tax requirements, and evolving accounting standards.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience, ideally in the shipping or maritime industry.

A relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA) is a plus, but not essential.

Strong grasp of accounting principles and practical know-how.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English.

A team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
