GRS Recruitment is proud to partner with a dynamic Consultancy Services company based in Limassol, seeking to appoint a dedicated Accountant to join their growing team. As an Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in their financial operations, overseeing various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial reporting. You will be expected to collaborate with other departments, such as sales, purchasing and warehouse for inventory management, revenue reporting and analysis. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for executing accounting processes and analyzing financial data. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Creation and posting of journal entries in the accounting system for multiple entities in the group.
  • Ensure that all records are up to date.
  • Perform bank reconciliations, bookkeeping and payment requests.
  • Responsible for Revenue monthly activities. Experience with multiple/various states of processing revenue.
  • Analyze Revenue Performance to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Responsible for the Accounts Receivables process (billing, collections, reconciliations).
  • Responsible for the Accounts Payables process.
  • Monitor and manage the stock purchasing cycle, including GRNs (Goods Received Notes) and stock reconciliations.
  • Work closely with the procurement and warehouse departments to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Preparation of accounting records based on international financial reporting standards (‘’IFRS’’).
  • Review and submit of VAT services & returns.
  • Maintain the fixed asset register including depreciation calculations.
  • Assist in the audit of the entities according to international financial reporting standards (‘’IFRS’’) ensuring on-time tax and statutory filing.
  • Assist in the preparation of Management reporting on a monthly basis.
  • Working in a team and supporting in servicing clients, assisting with day-to-day requests and responding to their needs.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University degree in Accounting / Finance / LCCI Higher.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Softone will be considered as an advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel is a requirement.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Greek and English.
  • Proficient computer literacy.
  • Past experience in the medical field will be considered as an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must possess great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and organize own work to meet set deadlines.
