GRS Recruitment is delighted to present a fantastic opportunity for a Russian-speaking Accountant to join a dynamic travel company located in Limassol. Our client is looking for a dedicated professional to contribute to their financial operations in an engaging and vibrant industry. If you have experience as an Accountant, particularly within the hospitality or travel sector, this could be the perfect role for you. 
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Proficient in accounting software including SAP, E-soft, Soft-one, Microsoft CRM and Excel, with a strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Develop, maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs. Financial Invoices for Customers and Suppliers.
  • Manage and Posting accounting transactions: Handle all accounting transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  • Reconcile Accounts: Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Bank and Cash Reconciliation: Reconcile bank and Cash balances and ensure timely bank payments.
  • Oversee Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including balance sheets, income statements, and other financial documents.
  • Maintain General Ledger: Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Prepare Tax Returns: Handle the preparation of tax returns, support for the external audits.
  • Debit, credit, and total accounts on computer spreadsheets and databases, using specialized accounting software.
  • Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Education in accounting, finance, or economics. 
  • At least 3 years of experience as an accountant.
  • Knowledge of tax legislation.
  • Mandatory knowledge of the SAP program.
  • Attention to detail and high level of responsibility.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Experience with online banking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Russian.
