MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise daily accounting activities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with company policies and IFRS/local accounting standards.

Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation prepared by the accounting team.

Monitor cash flow, payments, collections, and intercompany transactions.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports before submission to management.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations, VAT filings, and internal controls.

Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.

Supervise, mentor, and train accounting staff to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Oversee accounting related to freight, customs, warehousing, and transportation costs.

Ensure proper cost allocation and revenue recognition for logistics services.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
-
Professional certification is an advantage.
-
Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

Experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain companies is preferred.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (experience with logistics ERP is a plus).

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
