GRS are recruiting for an established company providing the Aviation industry with international cargo logistics and aircraft technical solutions, an Accounts Executive, who will join and work with the Finance Team.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The main responsibilities include (with particular responsibility for Revenue of Commercial Arm):

Updating, monitoring and reviewing of book-keeping

Issuing and reviewing of customer invoices, maintaining and chasing receivables
-
Posting and reviewing of purchase invoices and monitoring of accounts payable
-
Carrying out general ledger entries, reconciliations and inter-company transactions
-
Managing and taking ownership of the monthly and annual reporting tasks, such as inter-company reconciliations, completeness of accruals and prepayments, ensuring proper income and cost allocation, reviewing and reconciling of Balance sheet accounts, etc

Preparing monthly management accounts

Processing of payments
-
Preparing Cash flow forecasting and related analysis

Assisting with the preparation of budgets and other financial reports, as required
-
Assisting with financial and statutory reporting
-
Assisting with periodic VAT and tax reporting
-
Liaising with external auditors, to assist with the smooth execution of annual audits
-
Liaising with and handling finance queries from banks, suppliers, customers, internal teams, professional advisors and third parties, as required
-
Any other duties for the smooth running of the department
REQUIREMENTS
It woud be beneficial if candidates come from a manufacturing background (whereby the main focus is stock, spare parts activity, etc.)

whereby the main focus is stocks, inventory, spare parts activity etc. therefore, n the final stages of attaining the ACCA qualification, with more advanced qualifications considered an asset

3years previous experience in a similar role

Good knowledge of accounting and IFRS principles

Local experience in the aircraft maintenance sector or with one of the Big Four audit firms or a corporate service provider would be an asset
-
Knowledge of local and cross-border
-
VAT laws would also be an asset.
