Our client is a leading provider of industry-focused assurance, tax, and advisory services for its clients and their stakeholders are now seeking an Accounts Receivable Executive to join their Finance team in Malta. This is an international company with global reach in more than 150 countries, well trusted globally. To be successful in this role you would ideally come from an accounting, preferably at an Advanced level standard or a Diploma in accounting education. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Allocating of receipts from clients to the respective client account/s on the billing system
  • Managing the collection of receivable balances
  • Responding to client inquiries, (typically involving sales invoices and monthly statements)
  • Following up on overdue invoices and coordinating for the Firm’s collection procedures to be implemented, if necessary
  • Reporting any payment issues to management 
  • Looking for ways to improve debt collection processes
CANDIDATE PROFILE  
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to listen to clients and to understand their needs.
  • Eagerness to resolve issues and strong analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with data entry and a good understanding of finance principles
  • Proficient in Office software (particularly Excel)
  • An academic foundation in accounting, preferably at an Advanced level standard or a Diploma in accounting 
  • Previous work experience within a Finance department, especially dealing with Accounts Receivable or in a similar role, will be considered as an asset.
  • Ambition with a passion for learning and developing further
