JOB DESCRIPTION

Ref#11565

A leading software development company is working with GRS Recruitment to recruit an experienced AI Developer to join its growing technology team in Limassol. This is an exciting opportunity for an AI/ML professional who wants to work beyond research and Jupyter Notebooks, developing and deploying high-performance, production-ready AI systems. The role sits at the intersection of machine learning, signal processing and software engineering, with a strong focus on model optimisation, real-time processing and production deployment. The successful candidate will work across two key technical areas: RF signal analysis and speech processing, helping develop systems capable of analysing complex signal and speech data in demanding, real-world environments.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Select, adapt and fine-tune machine learning models for RF signal and speech processing, including CNNs, Transformers, state-space models and end-to-end ASR architectures.
  • Optimise AI model inference for latency, throughput and resource efficiency, using techniques such as quantisation, pruning, kernel fusion, batching and mixed precision.
  • Work with TorchScript, torch.compile, ONNX and TensorRT to optimise and deploy production models.
  • Develop high-performance inference solutions using PyTorch and LibTorch (PyTorch C++).
  • Deploy and operate machine learning models using NVIDIA Triton Inference Server, including model repositories, ensembles, dynamic batching, business logic scripting and custom backends.
  • Build complete processing pipelines around AI models, including signal preprocessing, feature extraction, streaming, pre-processing and post-processing.
  • Develop solutions for RF signal analysis, including classification, detection and characterisation of high-frequency signals within broadband data streams.
  • Contribute to speech processing applications, including speaker recognition, speaker diarisation, speech denoising, speech enhancement and automatic speech recognition (ASR).
  • Design and develop components of real-time platforms for the automated analysis and visualisation of radio signals.
  • Take AI prototypes through to production and market readiness, including benchmarking, profiling, testing, reproducibility, monitoring and model versioning.
  • Evaluate new AI methods, frameworks and tools and assess their suitability against technical and performance requirements.
  • Work closely with system architecture, software development and product management teams to translate AI capabilities into practical products.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Several years of hands-on experience working with PyTorch beyond model training, with a strong understanding of production inference and performance optimisation.
  • Solid knowledge of C++ (C++17 or later).
  • Practical experience with the PyTorch C++ API / LibTorch.
  • Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Triton Inference Server.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning and deep learning model development and deployment.
  • Experience with model optimisation techniques such as quantisation, pruning, batching, mixed precision, ONNX or TensorRT.
  • Experience developing or deploying real-time or high-performance AI systems would be highly advantageous.
  • Knowledge or practical experience in signal processing, RF, speech processing or ASR would be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, testing, profiling and performance benchmarking.
  • Analytical and structured approach to solving complex technical problems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with software engineers, architects and product teams.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
  • €50,000 - €70,000 Gross Per Annum.
  • Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative, any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability.
  • Hybrid working opportunities following the initial onboarding and training period.
  • Opportunity to work with advanced AI, RF and speech-processing technologies.
  • Exposure to challenging real-time and high-performance computing environments.
  • Collaborative, technically focused working environment.
  • Opportunities for continued professional and technical development.
  • Work alongside experienced professionals across AI, software development, signal processing and systems engineering.
  • Please note that candidates must be EU nationals with a valid right to work in Cyprus. The successful candidate must be based in Cyprus. New employees are expected to work from the Limassol office during their initial 3–6 months for training and team integration.
Due to the high volume of applications we receive at GRS Recruitment, only shortlisted candidates will be responded to.
