MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct and review AML Customer File reviews and periodic thematic reviews.
- Perform jurisdictional risk assessments using relevant tools and technologies.
- Review Client Risk Assessments and support Transaction Monitoring activities.
- Conduct and review ad hoc Transaction Monitoring as needed.
- Observe and contribute to the development of AML Policies and Procedures.
- Monitor regulatory and legislative developments and provide updates to the Manager.
- Assist with compliance and regulatory submissions to Competent Authorities.
- Support the Company MLRO, Compliance Officer, and broader AML Regulatory team.
- Assist in thematic reviews, CMP testing, register updates, and compliance diary maintenance.
- Organise and maintain sensitive company-related data securely.
- Support the team manager in leading and enhancing team performance, including following up on assigned tasks and ensuring timely delivery, and promoting teamwork, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Minimum 4–5 years’ hands-on experience in AML/CFT within the financial services industry.
- Qualification in AML/CFT and/or Financial Crime is considered an asset.
- Familiarity with Company Service Providers, Fund Administration, and Trustees is a strong advantage.
- Experience with Viewpoint software is a plus.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Highly organised, meticulous, and methodical with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Comfortable working independently and maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Analytical thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
