The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing financial transactions to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies, mitigating potential risks. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

Perform ongoing transaction monitoring to identify and address unusual or suspicious activities.

Escalate alerts, positive matches, and suspicious transactions as needed.

Respond promptly to internal and external queries with professionalism and accuracy.

Ensure compliance with AML laws and regulations, while conducting thorough customer due diligence

Review KYC and supporting documentation for accuracy and compliance.

Document decision-making processes using CRM and related tools.

Address and resolve queries from correspondent banks swiftly.

Maintain and update information on correspondent and intermediary banks related to SWIFT payments.

Investigate and resolve queries through the SWIFT messaging system

Provide training and mentorship to junior team members.

Report directly to the Head of First Line and assist with other first-line duties as necessary.

Collaborate closely with the compliance team to ensure alignment on regulatory matters.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Prior experience in Electronic Money Institutions (EMIs), Payment Service Providers (PSPs), or the banking sector is highly advantageous.

Solid experience in transaction monitoring or fraud detection within financial services.

Strong knowledge of AML laws, with relevant certifications considered a plus.

Excellent analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
