An international FinTech firm is searching for a Refresh KYC Analyst to join their onboarding team in Malta. You will report to the KYC Onboarding Manager and will be required to carry out an array of onboarding/KYC duties. The ideal candidate will ideally have 2 years’ experience in KYC within the Funds/FinTech sector, but candidates with lower may also be considered. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct KYC onboarding reviews ensuring adherence to procedural, policy and regulatory requirements within SLA.
  • Conduct KYC refresh reviews ensuring adherence to procedural, policy and regulatory requirements within SLA.
  • Complete ongoing client screening alerts ensuring adherence to procedural, policy and regulatory requirements within SLA.
  • Independently accurately and concisely escalate high risk factors and appetite for onboarding and refresh to the 2nd Line Compliance Team.
  • Independently accurately and concisely escalate SBARs, KYC exceptions and requests for risk-based approach to the Senior Analyst.
  • Supporting in the development of internal processes and procedures.
  • Independently providing guidance and advisory to sales, onboarding, QAQC, TM relating to KYC matters.
  • Delivering training on compliance topics to the internal and external teams.
  • Supporting the upskilling of Associate Analysts by providing internal training and shadowing.
  • Raising efficiencies and cases for change and implementing these with support from Team Lead / Manager.
  • Support the Senior to produce accurate and concise M.I. to the relevant senior stakeholder forums.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Strong experience in the funds sector, specifically within Transfer Agency.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in AML, KYC, and CDD, with an emphasis on handling complex structures.
  • Candidates who display a strong work attitude and the willingness to learn for individuals who do not have 2+ years of experience may also be considered
