MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITLIES
- Advising funds, management companies, UCI administrators, MIFID entities and depositaries on all aspects of Luxembourg anti-financial crime related matters (including anti-money laundering, counter terrorist financing, sanctions and fraud)
- Developing a tailored risk-based anti-financial crime framework for our clients
- Provide technical assistance on the implementation of the anti-financial crime framework
- Assisting in the design and drafting anti-financial crime related policies, procedures and processes
- Assisting in the management of the coordination of regulatory examinations
- Liaising with regulatory authorities
- Organising and providing training to local and international clients
- Be involved in other ad hoc tasks such as advising on all regulatory matters impacting the fund, asset and the wealth management industry
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Hold a legal or financial services qualification from a reputable professional or tertiary education institution
- Preferably hold the CAMS certification or any other equivalent certification pertaining to AML/CFT, or willingness to obtain such certification
- Have at least 2-3 years of experience within the anti-financial crime field
- Preferably have advisory experience
- A good understanding of the laws governing anti-financial crime in Luxembourg in particular, those relating to anti-money laundering, counter terrorist financing and sanctions
- Sound knowledge and understanding of the laws governing the fund, asset and the wealth management industry in Luxembourg, especially those relating to alternative investment funds, Luxembourg management companies and alternative investment fund managers
- Communicate confidently and effectively in both English, and French or German
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong willingness to learn
- Have a positive attitude towards clients and colleagues
- Be able to work well within a team
