An established Group of Companies with 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry in Malta are collaborating with GRS Recruitment to recruit a Legal Advisor in Malta. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive legal counsel in corporate, financial services, CSR, and capital markets. As a Legal Advisor, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and drive strategic initiatives in a dynamic multi-industry environment.   • Provide legal assistance, advice, and draft legal opinions for group companies, ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
  • Draft and review contracts and agreements and conduct legal research relevant to the Group.
  • Advise on corporate governance, CSR, and ESG initiatives, ensuring adherence to laws and promoting Group development in these areas.
  • Assist with company secretarial duties, financing, capital market transactions, and regulatory compliance.
  • Organize and maintain databases, legal files, licenses, and manage legal documents.
  • Guide AX Group operations to ensure compliance with relevant laws.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements in Group activities.
  • Advise on the interpretation and application of laws and regulations.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external contacts.
  • Support the legal function and perform duties as directed by the Chief Legal Officer.
  • Degree in Law with a legal warrant, a Master’s Degree is a plus.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in English and Maltese.
  • Courteous and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary team.
