The selected candidate will provide comprehensive legal counsel in corporate, financial services, CSR, and capital markets. As a Legal Advisor, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and drive strategic initiatives in a dynamic multi-industry environment. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide legal assistance, advice, and draft legal opinions for group companies, ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements.

Draft and review contracts and agreements and conduct legal research relevant to the Group.

Advise on corporate governance, CSR, and ESG initiatives, ensuring adherence to laws and promoting Group development in these areas.

Assist with company secretarial duties, financing, capital market transactions, and regulatory compliance.

Organize and maintain databases, legal files, licenses, and manage legal documents.

Guide AX Group operations to ensure compliance with relevant laws.

Evaluate and recommend improvements in Group activities.

Advise on the interpretation and application of laws and regulations.

Build strong relationships with internal and external contacts.

Support the legal function and perform duties as directed by the Chief Legal Officer.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Degree in Law with a legal warrant, a Master’s Degree is a plus.

At least 5 years of relevant experience.

Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Proficiency in English and Maltese.
