Our client is a growing, technology-driven FinTech company which is on a mission to simplify payment operations for e-commerce businesses of all sizes. In partnership with GRS Recruitment, the company is looking to hire a recently qualified accountant (1–3 years post-qualification) to take ownership of key areas within the company’s accounting and financial operations, with a strong focus on consolidation and group reporting, offering hands-on exposure to a rapidly evolving payments landscape. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare monthly group consolidation across international entities with various currencies

Prepare IFRS-compliant financial statements at both single entity and group level

Lead intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

Take ownership of consolidation adjustments and reporting outputs

Own full accounting and financial operations of assigned single entity/entities, including end-to-end close (month, quarter, year-end)

Oversee and review bookkeeping to ensure accuracy and quality of financial data

Ensure consistent application of accounting policies and internal standards

Act as primary contact for assigned audit areas and manage deliverables
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CPA or equivalent)

1–3 years post-qualification experience in audit or accounting

Solid understanding of financial reporting and consolidation (IFRS)

Experience working with multi-entity group structures

Strong Excel skills. You should be comfortable handling large datasets and reconciliations

High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking

Ability to meet tight reporting deadlines

Strong communication skills in Greek and English

Exposure to consolidation and group reporting in practice

Experience in payments, or financial services industry

Experience with NetSuite ERP systems
