A leading boutique hotel chain is looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to join their team in Malta. I am searching for a highly meticulous candidate with good analytical skills to assist the Chief Financial Officer. The ideal candidate will be ACCA qualified (or almost) and have at least one years’ experience within a similar role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct general accounting duties such as data entry

Bank reconciliations

Debtors and creditors control

Computation of the trial balance

Analyse financial information

Prepare financial management reports

Assist in financial audits and budgets

Analyse and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Possess or be studying for an accountancy qualification (ACCA)
-
Minimum 1 years’ experience
-
Fluent in both Maltese and English language
-
Smart, mature and of professional disposition
-
Capable to work on own initiative
-
Proficient computer literacy in word, excel and emails
-
Experience in accounting packages and MS Office is a necessity

Excellent organizational, verbal and written communications skills

Able to work flexible hours
