MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Assist in developing and preparing detailed budgets for crewing operations.
  • Help forecast OPEX performance and provide support in budget variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure budgetary objectives are met.
  • Monitor costs associated with crew management and operations.
  • Support the implementation of cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
  • Assist in regular reviews of expenditure against the budget and recommend adjustments.
  • Assist in conducting thorough reviews of OPEX / CAPEX accounts related to crewing operations.
  • Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for clients, detailing budgetary performance.
  • Assist in presenting financial data and insights to clients in a clear and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Crewing Operations and Crew Accounts.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders, such as vendors and contractors, to manage costs and improve efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
  • Contributing to the development of new or the amendment of existing procedures.
  • Promoting and supporting efforts for continual improvement.
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Shipping, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in financial management, budgeting, or accounting within the maritime or crewing industry.
  • Understanding of passenger & cruise vessels will be considered as an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
