A UK based Professional Services Company with offices in Cyprus is working in partnership with GRS Recruitment to hire an Assistant Manager - Financial Advisory for their Limassol based team. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide guidance/expertise and participate in the performance of audit procedures and ESG services, especially focusing on complex issues.
  • Collaborate to plan objectives and determine an audit strategy that appropriately addresses risk. Successfully monitor the engagement team against the budget and make appropriate recommendations for the future.
  • Understand the client's industry and recognise key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging industry developments. Stay informed of general business/economic developments and their impact to the client.
  • Develop/maintain strong working relationships with key business decision makers throughout the year.
  • Review company accounts and records and investigating various transactions, contracts and agreements.
  • Perform financial and real option analysis and prepare appropriate reports.
  • Generate new business opportunities through identifying new leads and making recommendations to senior management. Facilitate growth by understanding the company and its service lines and actively assessing/presenting ways to apply knowledge and services. Develop long-term relationships and networks both internally and externally.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or in any other related field
  • Holder of ACA/ ACCA qualification
  • Previous working experience in Audit or Advisory Services
  • Fluency in Greek and English, both written and verbal
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office products, foremost Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Caseware.
  • Strong accounting skills
  • Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles
  • Excellent organizational, time-management and project-management skills
  • Dedication to teamwork and leadership
