GRS Recruitment is delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a Assistant Marina Manager with our esteemed client, a prominent company located in Limassol. You will be responsible for managing a safe, high-performing, and customer-focused marina in line with strategic goals, international standards, and business plans agreed with the Board of Directors. From operational oversight to financial stewardship, marketing, compliance, and team leadership — this is a multifaceted role for a seasoned professional ready to elevate one of the Mediterranean’s top marinas. This role is ideal for candidates who have a robust background in management coupled with experience in the shipping industry, eager to contribute to a dynamic environment.
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Execute the Marina Operating Agreement with precision and full regulatory compliance
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans including budgeting and forecasting
  • Lead all aspects of marina operations, maintenance, and customer service to TYHA Gold Anchor Platinum standards
  • Oversee marketing strategy, brand presence, events, and business development initiatives
  • Ensure financial control including payroll, reporting, and statutory compliance
  • Act as Health & Safety Officer and Environmental Coordinator for the site
  • Build strong relationships with guests, partners, and concessionaires
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team in line with the Marinas’ brand and values
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • CMM accreditation from the Global Marinas Institute or 5 years plus experience in a service related senior manager role
  • University degree in business, hotel management, or engineering
  • Deep understanding of marina operations, including boat handling and maintenance is a definite benefit
  • Strong financial acumen and strategic planning capabilities
  • Excellent communication skills and a commitment to safety, service, and sustainability
  • Proficiency in emergency procedures, VHF use, and a valid driving license
