An international Pharmaceutical company is searching for an Assistant Production Manager to help lead their team in Malta. You will be required to organize and assist in the manufacture of our Active Pharmaceutical Products. The person will be ultimately responsible for the technical aspects of production and support in relation to the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Science and a minimum of three years’ experience working in a production/GMP

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the manufacturing operations in alignment with company policies and procedures

Support the Production Manager (API) for the goals of the Production

Department of our API facility

Responsible for Cleaning Validation

Support the Production Manager to ensure that products are produced on time, are in line with the quality standards set and are produced at the minimum possible costs

Request from the Quality Control department analysis of raw materials and products which are necessary as part of production processes, and to use such analysis in the correct development of the products/processes

Manage external personnel assisting production

Evaluate scientific data resulting from the department’s operations

Be involved in deviations and root cause analysis where applicable

Able to manage projects and lead teams
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
A University Degree in Chemistry/Pharmaceutical Science
-
Have a minimum of three years’ experience working in a production/GMP environment
-
Ideally have previous experience in a managerial role, (ideally with a postgraduate qualification in Management)

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
-
Computer literacy and good command of MS Office Applications

Results-oriented and will display an attitude that reflects our Company values
