An established professional services firm is seeking an Audit & Assurance professional to join its growing audit team. Reporting to the Audit Senior, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality financial audits across a diverse and expanding client portfolio, with clear opportunities for career progression.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with the planning, execution, and finalisation of audit engagements

Perform detailed audit procedures, including control testing, substantive testing, and analytical reviews

Prepare accurate audit working papers, documenting tests and findings

Liaise with clients to gather data and information required for audits

Identify and document internal control weaknesses and business-process improvement areas

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAPSME and IFRS
-
Support audit managers and seniors with engagement management, providing progress updates and flagging issues

Mentor and guide junior auditors and trainees in audit testing and documentation
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Previous audit experience within a professional services or audit firm

Strong knowledge of accounting and auditing principles
-
Experience preparing financial statements under GAPSME and IFRS
-
Ability to perform control testing, substantive testing, and analytical reviews

Experience preparing audit working papers

Confident working with clients and building strong professional relationships
SALARY AND BENEFITS
- €22,000 – €29,000 Gross Per Annum

Salary will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and skills. The advertised salary range is indicative; any offer will reflect the successful candidate’s suitability
