MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reviewing complex client accounts & financial statements prepared by qualified staff for client sign-off.

Ensuring all audit assignments comply with International Accounting Standards and internal policies & procedures.

Reviewing complex personal & corporate tax returns, along with advisory work for discussion with the team.

Managing complex audits, staff planning, presenting final audit files/close-out meetings with clients.

Planning special project assignments, ownership of agreed budgets and ensuring the teams meet client deadlines.

Setting objectives and completing appraisals of the staff, including future staff growth planning for the office.

Engaging with new clients and business development activities to help grow the firm.

Ensuring all work across the office is carried out profitably & on a timely basis in accordance with the firm’s standards.

Attending weekly Board Meetings with the Partners across the firm to discuss future growth strategy, staff planning, marketing etc.

Promoting other service lines within the firm and attending external business seminars/events as required
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Must be a Qualified ACA/ACCA Accountant,
-
University graduate in Accounting, Finance, or related field
-
Extended External Audit experience (Manager level and above) within a Top 10 Accounting & Audit firm

Strong staff management and business growth skills
-
Up to date with IFRS & IAS
-
Fluency in Greek and English languages at a professional level

Ambitious, entrepreneurial, strategic and highly-driven
