GRS Recruitment is searching for an experienced and driven Audit Manager to lead and manage audit engagements within a growing audit and assurance practice based in Nicosia. This role provides an excellent opportunity to work with a broad range of clients across various industries while ensuring audit quality and compliance with the International Standards on Auditing (ISAs). The successful candidate will play a key leadership role within the firm, contributing to technical excellence, client relationship management, and team development.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of audit engagements in accordance with ISAs
- Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries
- Review audit work and financial statements to ensure quality and compliance
- Identify significant audit risks and provide strategic recommendations
- Maintain strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate audit staff and assistant managers
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards
- Contribute to business development and firm growth initiatives
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for engagements
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Fully qualified ACCA, ACA (ICAEW), CPA, or equivalent recognized qualification
- 5+ years of audit experience, including managerial responsibilities
- Strong technical knowledge of ISAs and financial reporting standards
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet strict deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word)
- Excellent command of Greek and English (written and spoken)
- High level of professional ethics, integrity, and commitment to continuous professional development
