Our client is a well-established and regulated Forex company with over 10 years of successful operation in the financial services industry. Headquartered in Nicosia are seeking a Back Office Officer. The company provides a collaborative and professional workplace where employees are encouraged to develop their skills and grow within the organization. This position is a full-time, on-site role based in Nicosia. The working hours are on a rotational shift basis, with shifts running up to 8:00 p.m. at the latest. MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Handle daily client transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and account maintenance.
  • Perform reconciliations of client accounts, banks, and payment service providers.
  • Monitor and ensure proper execution of transactions in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate records and documentation for auditing and compliance purposes.
  • Liaise with other internal departments (Compliance, Accounting, Dealing, and Customer Support) to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Monitor and report any discrepancies, unusual transactions, or potential risks to management.
  • Ensure that all back-office operations are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Participate in ongoing process improvements and support new system implementations when required.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a Back Office or Operations role within a Forex or Financial Services environment will be considered an advantage.
  • Excellent command of the English language; knowledge of Greek will be considered an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel); familiarity with CRM systems or MT4/MT5 platforms is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work on a rotational shift schedule (latest shift until 8:00 p.m.).
