On behalf of our Client, a well-established and Dynamic Office, GRS Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Back Office Officer to be based in Nicosia. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Confirmation of transactions in the system for transactions, deposits/withdrawals of funds and securities.
- Issuing orders to the custodian for the transfer of securities, funds, settlements transactions.
- Processing of requests (requests for bank statements, corporate actions, preparation of special reports).
- Monitoring and participation in corporate actions (correspondence with banks, traders, paperwork, tracking execution).
- Reconciliation of portfolios in the system daily.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- University Degree in Business, Finance, Law, Economics.
- Minimum 2 years previous experience in similar role such as Regulated Entities industry (banks, investment firms, regulated funds).
- Knowledge of settlements under ISDA will be considered an advantage.
- Good knowledge of the operations of financial markets
- Good knowledge of various asset classes (fixed income, equities, options)
- Understanding of Private Equity operations will be considered an advantage
- Deep knowledge of the various corporate actions that can occur in aforementioned asset classes.
- Computer literate
- Clean Criminal Record.
