GRS Recruitment is proud to partner with a rapidly expanding Financial Services company seeking a Back Office Onboarding Officer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing client verifications, ensuring the correct application of KYC procedures, monitoring client KYC records, and overseeing transaction monitoring — all while maintaining strict adherence to financial regulations. If you have a strong background in a similar role and are passionate about the forex industry, we would love to hear from you today!
 
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Verification of clients.
  • Request, validate, and approve documents as part of the KYC onboarding process.
  • Ensure the company's KYC and AML procedures are strictly followed.
  • Review screening alerts for Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs), Sanctions, and Adverse Media.
  • Investigate and respond to AML and transaction monitoring alerts.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding experience.
  • Assess AML risks of prospective clients using AML Risk Assessment.
  • Verify document authenticity using available software and provided training.
  • Identify and report fraudulent applications and reject those that do not meet compliance criteria.
  • Suggests improvements in the onboarding process where applicable.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Proven experience in a back office role within the Forex or Fintech sectors.
  • Strong understanding of KYC and AML regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools for client management and compliance.
