A leading investment bank is looking for a Back Officer to join their team in Malta. You will be responsible for opening and closing of customer accounts and undertaking risk procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, ideally from within a financial institution. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Opening of customers’ accounts on our database

Closing of customers’ accounts

Updating customers’ records in accordance with the department’s procedures
-
Perform qualitative and quantitative checks on account documentation for new and existing customers

Abide with operational risk procedures
-
Work effectively with other departments to streamline the Onboarding processes
-
Ensuring all customers’ files are stored and maintained accordingly
-
Scanning, filing and other administrative duties
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Preferably Level 4 certifications in business/finance subjects

Knowledge of MS Office applications and ECDL base certificate
-
Prior experience in a financial institution will be considered an asset

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
-
Excellent organizational and time management skills
-
Good eye for details.
