GRS Recruitment is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Settlement Officer to join a reputable CYSEC CIF company located in Limassol. Our client is a private company looking for a professional with a strong back office background, specifically in Wealth/Fund Management, to enhance their operations. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES 
  • Orderly process and settle trades with financial instruments
  • Process DRs conversions and cancellations
  • Process Clients’ non trading orders, such as securities receipt, withdrawal, transfers, ADR conversions, DVP/RVP orders
  • Perform reconciliations, including at least reconciling trades and securities balances and derivatives open positions between back-office system and statements of external providers (brokers and/or custodians)
  • Ensure proper record keeping of proprietary and client transactions, balances and transfers details and documents
  • Participate in operational projects. This includes ensuring projects have requirements documented and agreed to ensure that project activity meets agreed project objectives; allocating and controlling tasks execution; ensuring risks, issues and dependencies are being recorded, monitored and proactively managed to minimise disruption to successful project delivery; constantly monitoring recently implemented projects to detect probable adverse consequences of making projects operational
  • Dealing with regulatory reporting matters. This includes preparation, review, and submission of accurate and timely reports to relevant authorities, ensuring compliance with forex industry regulations (including but not limited to transaction reporting, trade reporting, SFTR, EMIR and other reports)
  • Develop and provide reports related to trade settlement and non trading order processing, as well as other reports as might be requested by the line manager or by the Executive directors
  • Negotiate and resolve current operational issues with external providers (banks, brokers, custodians, clearing agents, exchanges, etc.)
  • Develop, review and update policies and procedures 
CANDIDATE PROFILE 
  • Educated to bachelor’s degree level or the equivalent in Finance, or a related field
  • Mandatory prior experience in a similar role within the bank or investment company
  • Subject matter expert in brokerage products, corporate actions, DMA trading services
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including formula use and pivot tables
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • 5+ years in similar position
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • A high level of confidentiality.
