GRS Recruitment is excited to announce a new opportunity for a Back Office and KYC Officer to join a dynamic gaming company based in Nicosia. Our client is looking to hire a Backoffice and KYC Officer to strengthen our compliance and operational capacity. This is a fantastic chance to become a pivotal part of a growing organization.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
  • Review customer accounts and verify documentation (ID, proof of address, source of funds, etc.) in line with regulatory requirements
  •  Conduct risk-based customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), and ongoing monitoring
  • Investigate potential suspicious activity and escalate cases to the MLRO when necessary. Backoffice Operations
  • Monitor player activity and account behavior using the platform’s backoffice tools
  • Handle tasks related to account management including updates, restrictions, and closures as per internal procedures
  •  Assist in the processing of deposits, withdrawals, and transaction reviews
  •  Support the Payments, Customer Support, and Compliance teams with account-level investigations and queries
  •  Ensure all procedures are followed according to company policies and local regulatory frameworks (e.g., AML, GDPR)
  •  Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of KYC reviews and account actions
  •  Assist in regulatory reporting and audits where required
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Minimum 1 year of proven experience in a similar role within the betting, gaming, financial services, or fintech industry
  • Strong understanding of KYC, AML, and responsible gambling principles
  • Certification  in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) – either completed or currently pursuing a
  • recognized AML Certification (e.g., CySEC, ICA, ACAMS) is not mandatory but will be considered an advantage
  •  Experience using Backoffice systems/platforms and familiarity with player lifecycle management
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  •  Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under pressure
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
  •  Strong ethical standards, discretion, and professionalism
