DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Download bids and pre-qualification questionniares from client portals

Dissect requests for proposal and analyse all requirements
-
Responsible for the compilation and submission of pre-qualification documentation

Communicate the requirements of proposals or tenders to senior management
-
Dissect issued tender documents to understand the requirements, communicate to key stakeholders, develop a bid preparation timeline and coordinate the preparation of documentation in support of tender response.

Lead bid preparation meetings to ensure all contributors are aligned and working to the agreed timeline

Understand the company’s value proposition in response to the bid and produce professionally written, clear, concise and compelling proposal content that clearly articulates the company's value proposition.

Support the business development team where required for both engagement with prospects and internal stakeholders to develop an in-depth knowledge of each opportunity to augment the quality of the written bid or proposal submission

Review, critique and challenge existing or written content submitted by the various teams to ensure key challenges or specific questions have been addressed on bespoke proposals.

Ensure a timely upload and submission of bid to client portal. Where required, hardcopies shall be printed and dispatched.

Actively seek feedback on both successful and unsuccessful proposals to inform future bids and to improve overall quality standards.

Manage and develop a content database for the storage and re-use of Proposals and bid documents.

Keeping the Proposal Tracker and Sales Pipeline dbases updated.

Following up on bids and proposals submitted.

Preparation of engaging presentations for management, clients and the Board in relation to Bids.

Assist the Commercial Manager by researching market information, client and industry trends and compiling reports in relationtion to bids.

Any other duty that the company may require from time to time commensurate with the candidates’s skills, competencies and experience.

Promote any duties assigned by the company from time to time, commensurate with the employee skills, competencies and experience.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Ideally a degree related to journalism, communications, and / or marketing.

Excellent attention to detail

Editing and proof-reading skills

Knowledgeable in the use of MS Office tools

Strong time management/prioritisation skills

Highly organised

Deadline Oriented.

Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.

Ability to work on own initiative.

Great communicator – able to discuss and create consensus across departments.

Ideally have a bid writing experience or journalistic background

Ideally experience in the medical services sector

Knowledgeable and experienced in writing of proposals and attending to tenders in a complex business environment.

Experience working in an international environment would be preferable.

English – High level of proficiency required.

French – Preferable
-
Knowledge of any other language would be ideal.
