MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBITLIES
  • Provide support to the Technical Department Manager for the smooth operation of the department.
  • Install new medical, biomedical, and other equipment and trains customers in its operation when requested.
  • Understand and follows the plan/manual for using the machines.
  • Inspect and repair medical, biomedical, and other equipment.
  • Follow safety and health standards during the repair, maintenance, and installation of medical technology equipment.
  • Communicate with the machine suppliers regarding any issues that may arise with the machines, following instructions.
  •  Provide immediate technical support via phone or visit the client's workplace.
  • Provide on-call coverage during evenings and weekends on a rotational basis.
  • Responsible for adhering to traffic rules.
  • Check the vehicle before departure for the route.
  • Report any accidents that occur with the vehicle or any damages that arise.
  • Conduct quality checks on the machinery.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on machines according to instructions.
  • Update the history of machines and customers.
  • Record and update technical support tasks in the system and maintains a file.
  • Complete all related administrative tasks upon the completion of repairs, installations, and preventive maintenance, as described in the company's procedures.
  • Practice the assembly/disassembly of machines and becomes familiar with the machines.
  • Manage and does not waste the company's spare parts and equipment recklessly.
  • Maintain the workplace safe, organised, and clean.
  • Follow the company's policies and procedures.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by participating in various workshops, seminars, creating personal networks, etc.
  • Other related duties.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Graduate Biomedical Engineering or Electronics Engineer or other related field.
  • A master's degree in a related field is considered an additional qualification.
  •  1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Holding a driver's license.
  • Very good knowledge of the Greek and English languages.
  • Very good knowledge of computers (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Very good knowledge of the medical technology equipment market.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Very good analytical skills.
