On behalf of our client, a leading professional services organisation, GRS are recruiting a Business Analyst who will report to the Head of Business. The selected candidate will be driven, ambitious and enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced environment. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • To understand the business, market and customer needs and propose solutions.
  • To analyse existing processes and identify the need to improve by streamlining and automating processes to improve efficiency and costs.
  • To gather and interpret data to provide actionable insights for decision-making.​
  • To ask as a liaison between different stakeholders within the company and ensures that everyone is working towards common goals.
  • To identify and assess risks associated with projects and initiatives and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • To gather and document the requirements of a project.
  • To assist stakeholders adapt to new processes, technologies, or ways of working minimising resistance and maximizing the changes of successful implementation.
  • To develop business strategies based on insights into market trends, customers’ needs and competitive landscapes. 
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in fields such as business administration, management, finance, economics, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) offered by the International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA).
  • Agile Analysis Certification (IIBA-AAC) offered by IIBA.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI), which includes a focus on business analysis techniques. 
  • 3 years experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, or data visualization tools is often required.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities and an aptitude for generating innovative solutions.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies, familiarity with project management tools, knowledge of database systems, and proficiency in specific business analysis software.
  •  Domain Knowledge.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills.
  • Adaptability, willingness to learn, and the ability to quickly grasp new concepts are highly valued traits in this field.
