On behalf of our Client, a well-established Forex, GRS are seeking to recruit a CFO in Limassol. The successful candidate will be responsible to consult board members about funding options. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare and ensure that financial reporting deadlines are met, including CySec, FSC (Belize), FCA (Mauritius) and FSCA (South Africa) reports

To interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits

To liaise with internal and external auditors dealing with any financial irregularities as they arise

Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations

Preparing consolidated and stand-alone monthly financial statements in line with IFRS

Ensuring all statutory reporting and tax reporting is completed on time and accurately

In charge of reconciliation

Supervise a team of Accountants

Allocate resources and manage cash flows
-
Conduct profit and cost analyses
-
Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information

Consult board members about funding options
-
Evaluate and decide on investments
-
Recommend cost-reducing solutions
-
Analyze and monitor financial reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
University Degree in Accounting
-
Relevant certification (CPA/ACCA/FCCA)

Proven work experience of minimum 5 years in the Financial sector/CIF
-
Knowledge of IFRS, taxation and CySec rules and regulations

In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping

Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management
-
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models
-
Proficiency in accounting software
-
Solid analytical and decision-making skills
-
Excellent command of English any other language will be of advantage
