The successful candidate must have previous experience in a similar role to set up the finance department of the company and be ACCA/ACA qualified. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepare reliable and timely financial reporting and financial planning forecasts

Ensure company's cash flow is appropriate for operational effectiveness

Drive the annual budget process and monthly reporting

Review and present a detailed budget for the business including financials, P&L, KPIs, and cashflow projections

Full ownership for the timely submission of all applicable statutory and regulatory filings

Develop strategy for the finance function to support the business's strategic initiatives

Lead and supervise all Group Finance & Accounting personnel, be responsible for the overview of the accounting treatment on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with the requirements of any applicable accounting standards

Assess and evaluate ongoing financial requirements to ensure sufficient resources are available to meet and deliver business's strategic initiatives

Oversee all financial transactions, processing systems and banking

Ensure effective internal controls are in place and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory legislation for financial and tax reporting

Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities

Maintain Banking arrangements and other Finance related relationships such as external auditors

Handle cost management with the objective of optimising the business's costs

Enhance the reporting function to ensure accuracy and transparency of financial and non-financial data/metrics

Lead the implementation of accounting and accounting systems
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
University graduate in Accounting/Finance or any relevant field
-
ACCA/ACA qualified
-
A minimum of 3 years’ proven experience as CFO or Finance Director in a similar position within a regulated Investment Firm

Fluency in English language at a professional level

Strong and deep knowledge of all operating and financial functions of CFD and Stockbroker

Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

Ability to strategise and solve problems

Strong leadership and organisational skills

Excellent communication and people skills
