GRS Recruitment are working with a highly reputable international company who are seeking to recruit a Chief Financial Officer for their dynamic team based in Limassol. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial tasks within the Organisation. If you have leadership skills and strong analytical skills, with a minimum of 10-years experience in a managerial position, then an attractive remuneration package will be offered for this Limassol based CFO role. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Project leader for deploying the full capabilities of the new systems implemented and creation of Business Intelligence reporting. Become power user of the IT systems of the department.
  • Responsible for the tax compliance (direct and indirect taxes) with current laws and regulations across Group Companies and being the major point of contact of Tax advisors.
  • Involved into the negotiation of contracts and agreements.
  • In charge of the treasury function (execution of payments, funding of trades, placement of deposits).
  • Analyse financial discrepancies and budgetary variances and recommend effective resolutions.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • In charge of the financial reporting, statutory reporting, consolidated financial statements, cash-flow, management reports, financial presentations to the Board and other ad-hoc reports.
  • Responsible for the organisation and coordination of the external audit process and associated liaison with auditors and legal counsels.
  • Stay abreast with the IFRS, other applicable accounting standards, current developments and business trends, utilising resources effectively.
  • In charge of implementing changes to align with new ESG directives.
  • Proactively detect and address potential compliance issues.
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Lead, manage, guide and train on a daily basis the accounting team to complete its tasks effectively within the specified deadlines.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • BSc Accounting/ Finance
  • Master’s degree in business or finance will be considered an advantage
  • ACA/ACCA/CPA/CFA is a must
  • Previous experience as a CFO is important.
  • Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems, Business Intelligence and Consolidation systems. SAP system experience will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills pertaining to finance and accounting including financial analysis and reporting as well as tax planning.
  • Leadership skills; experience in collaborating and/or managing a team of accountants.
