GRS Recruitment are working with a well-established brand in Limassol who are searching for a visionary Chief Information Security Officer to lead their cybersecurity strategy and protect the digital backbone of the organization. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design and execute a comprehensive security program covering cyber defense, data protection, and threat response.
  • Drive risk assessments and vulnerability management initiatives, identifying and addressing potential threats before they become issues.
  • Lead incident response and recovery efforts, ensuring rapid, effective mitigation of any security breaches.
  • Oversee compliance and governance, ensuring the organization meets global standards like GDPR, HIPAA, and ISO 27001.
  • Manage and enhance security infrastructure, including firewalls, SIEM tools, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
  • Partner with leadership across IT, Legal, and Compliance to align security priorities with business objectives.
  • Foster a culture of cybersecurity awareness, developing engaging training programs that empower employees to be the first line of defense.
  • Stay ahead of the curve, monitoring emerging threats, AI-driven security trends, and innovative solutions to strengthen our defenses.
  • Report and advise executives on our security posture, providing actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Proven experience as a CISO or in a senior cybersecurity leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in cloud security, information security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), and risk management.
  • Hands-on experience with SIEMs, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and encryption protocols.
  • Strong understanding of data privacy regulations and regulatory compliance.
  • Practical knowledge of vulnerability assessments, ethical hacking, and incident management.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps and secure software development practices.
  • Awareness of how AI and machine learning can be leveraged in cybersecurity operations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence at the executive level.
COMPANY BENEFITS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology preferred.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are a strong plus.
