On behalf of our Client, a well-established e-commerce, GRS are seeking to recruit a Chief Operating Officer to join their continuously expanding team in Limassol. The successful candidate will have at least 4 years of relevant experience. This is an excellent opportunity to work with well-established organization. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Establish a collaborative working relationship and culture with all stakeholders across the organization
  • Work with the management team to build the organization to be more agile, more responsive and successful in its main purpose (connect buyers with sellers)
  • Ensure the organizations operational function and success
  • Define the way, the means, the tools and the internal policies to implement a continuous improvement process for all you’re your responsible parts
  • Work closely with the Head of Commercial Operations to see how the market responds to the new services and products fail fast and learn fast
  • Use technology to accomplish the mission of the company (check and suggest technical changes and features, communicate with the development team for new features, etc.)
  • Review international trends of classifies to check the latest international developments
  • Discuss with the CEO of the Strategic demands
  • Oversee the work of teams and employees that are under the Operations department, e.g. Customer Success, Moderation, Product Owner, Marketeer etc.
  • Cooperate with the Financial Associates to have an oversight of all the financial matters and make things progress
  • Work with the Legal Associates for the open issues and follow up on progress on all legal matters
  • Cooperate closely with the CEO to drive the business forward
 
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
  • University Degree preferably in Engineering or Information Technology or Marketing or Business Administration
  • At least 4 years of previous proven professional experience in a similar role, preferably in a digital organisation
  • Technical background and/or experience in working with technology on digital platforms
  • Fair level of experience in strategic customer service and marketing
  • Experience in leading a company’s digital transformation involving major people, process and cultural changes
  • Excellent use of Greek and English language, both written and oral
  • Strategic but practical, hands-on mindset. You should be experienced in putting the strategy into practice
  • Outstanding organisational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills and experience in managing teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to communicate effectively with all levels across the organisation
  • Capability to be an active representative of the company
  • Team player who is able to build excellent working relationships
  • Proactive, goal-oriented and results-driven mentality
