A well-established CySEC regulated Brokerage Services Company is collaborating with GRS Recruitment in order to recruit a Chief Operations Officer (COO) for their Limassol offices. Our client provides a variety of services including the Asset Management, Brokerage and Investment Advisory Services aiming to continuously provide worldwide opportunities on global markets. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Control of procedures of client account opening and improving of client service
  • Being functional point of contact for regulators, counterparties and clients
  • Infrastructure development with banks, external brokers, depositories, custodians
  • Control of external reports submission: MiFIR, EMIR, SFTR, CSDR, Post-trade
  • Control of monthly, quarterly and annual reports submission to CySEC and CBC
  • Adhere to QI, FATCA and CRS legislative requirements
  • Control of safekeeping and reconciliation
  • Maintain procedures of client assets handling and record keeping
  • Automatize business and regulatory frameworks of client operations, accounting, client service, reporting
  • Participate in development of new products for clients
  • Develop / revise the internal procedures, instructions, documents (as the part of the Operations Department),
  • Perform other responsibilities specified in the Company's Internal Operations Manual
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Higher education in economics, finance or law
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a position related to COO, compliance or other regulatory function of an EU investment firm
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Russian
  • High attention to detail
  • Good repute and professional integrity
  • Holder of a CySEC Advanced Certificate is an advantage
  • Experience with classic (non-FOREX) brokerage business is an advantage
