This is a rare opportunity for a senior procurement leader to join the executive team of a market-leading Group in Cyprus. The Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) will be responsible for shaping and executing the procurement strategy across both Hotels and Construction divisions, ensuring the efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective management of the supply chain.
The successful candidate will oversee supplier relationship management, lead strategic sourcing initiatives, and develop procurement governance policies while driving continuous improvement through data, KPIs, and team leadership.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee and negotiate annual procurement agreements.

Drive strategic sourcing and effective supplier relationship management (SRM).

Manage the supply chain and inbound logistics to ensure efficiency and reliability.

Lead project procurement across Hospitality and Construction operations.

Implement procurement systems and databases ensuring data accuracy and compliance.

Optimise inventory costs and waste management.

Integrate risk, governance, sustainability, and ESG principles into procurement practices.

Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team, embedding SOPs, audits, and training.

Define and enforce policies, procedures, and delegations of authority (DoA).

Deliver actionable insights through demand forecasting, KPIs, and performance reporting.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.

3+ years C-suite leadership experience in procurement/supply chain OR 8+ years in senior procurement management.

Strong background in contract negotiation and contract management.

Demonstrated experience within Hospitality, Retail, Logistics, or Construction is highly advantageous.

Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
