GRS Recruitment are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Officer to join a leading Construction company based in Limassol. This role plays a key part in overseeing purchasing activities, sourcing reliable suppliers, and ensuring procurement decisions align with project demands, quality expectations, and budget objectives. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end procurement processes, maintain strong supplier partnerships, and contribute to cost-efficient sourcing strategies across the organization.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist during the pre-acquisition phase by reviewing existing supply chain arrangements, identifying potential vendors, and preparing high-level cost assessments to support acquisition decisions.
  • Liaise with Quantity Surveyors and Architects to obtain and confirm technical specifications.
  • Prepare quantity take-offs from BoQs, drawings, and specifications; experience using AutoCAD for measurements will be considered an advantage.
  • Coordinate tender processes, including collecting requirements, ensuring compliance with specifications, conducting technical and arithmetic evaluations, and supporting the selection of preferred suppliers.
  • Lead negotiations with local and international suppliers, focusing on optimal pricing, material quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Develop and implement appropriate procurement strategies for each requirement to achieve best value while meeting quality standards.
  • Provide procurement-related support across multiple business units within the Group.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure procurement files are properly organized and monitored on a per-project basis.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Demonstrated experience in procurement operations and vendor assessment.
  • Strong background in contract negotiation and supplier agreement management.
  • Advanced analytical abilities to assess pricing, market trends, and sourcing options.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple procurement activities concurrently.
  • Previous exposure to the real estate and/or construction sector will be considered an advantage.
  • Familiarity with procurement systems, tools, and related software.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident and professional negotiation approach.
