On behalf of our client a leading developer of software applications for financial market trading, GRS are seeking a Chinese speaking Technical Support Assistant to join their growing Limassol based team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 2 years IT Helpdesk experience, however recent graduates with strong academics will also be considered. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via the telephone, email or live chat.

Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.

Monitor and reply to all incoming technical support tickets.

Answer frequently asked questions via telephone, email and live chat.

Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.

Record events and problems and their resolution in logs

Assist in internal departmental workload.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
University degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or a related field.

Solid mathematical understanding.

Ideally 1 to 2 years’ experience in an IT Helpdesk role, however recent graduates with strong academics will be considered

High level of computer literacy and excellent knowledge of prevailing software web based technology.

Windows OS administration experience.
-
Excellent written and verbal command of the Chinese & English language.

Prepared to work shift patterns to 23:00 latest.

Capacity to learn quickly as the successful candidate will participate in very intensive training; and your knowledge will have to be continuously updated.

Skill in giving explanations and provide reasoning often to to non-technical personnel.

Ability to work as part of a team.

Demonstrate great attention to detail.
