GRS Recruitment is working in partnership with a highly respected and well-established law firm with offices in Limassol, who are currently seeking to recruit a Compliance Associate to join their growing team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, ideally gained within a law firm or corporate service provider. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Limassol. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct client due diligence and transaction monitoring to identify suspicious activities related to money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions breaches.

Assist in developing and implementing an effective compliance framework.

Support the implementation of the AML Manual, policies, procedures, and controls, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.

Conduct investigations and prepare detailed analytical reports, including those related to potential sanctions violations.

Provide operational support to the Compliance Department and undertake additional duties as required.

Respond to AML/CFT compliance queries from personnel.

Conduct internal compliance training sessions.

Stay up to date with regulatory developments and industry’s best practices.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Degree in Law, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an AML/Compliance role within an Administrative Service Provider environment is mandatory.

Proven ability to review clients, perform transaction monitoring, and assess sanctions compliance risks.

Strong knowledge of AML laws, EU Directives, sanctions regulations, and industry best practices.

Excellent understanding of compliance processes and procedures.

Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills in English and Greek.

High attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and effective time management.
