A growing, regulated brokerage firm are looking for a Compliance Officer to join their team in Limassol.  The successful candidate will be a holder of both the CySEC AML and Advanced certificates as well as have at least 3 years of relevant experience.  If you have the relevant skills and are interested in joining an international and professional team, then we look forward to receiving your CV for this Limassol based Compliance Officer role.  
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist in the effective implementation of the AML Manual, policies, procedures and controls, and ensure their compliance with the relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide support to the AML and Regulatory Compliance Officer of the Company
  • Ongoing compliance monitoring of client transactions and operations
  • Prepare “yellow flag” reports to the AML and Regulatory Compliance Officer
  • Assist in preparation of new and/or update existing policies and procedures to ensure that compliance standards are adhered
  • Assisting with the review and approval of marketing materials
  • Assist in KYC/CDD and client onboarding procedures for the Company and banks
  • Keep AML/Compliance internal database, clients’ and internal Company’s records up to date
  • Assist in the preparation of reports for the regulatory authorities and management of the Company
  • Keep abreast and review of new and amended regulatory developments, new compliance legislation and market developments
  • Maintain close collaboration with relevant authorities, clients and other counterparties
  • Undertake any other compliance related activities and projects, as necessary
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting or Law
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in legal, accounting/audit or compliance function
  • Holder of the AML and Advanced Certificate in the Public Register of CySEC (could be obtained within 6 months period from the commencement of employment)
  • Fluent English (Greek or Russian is a plus)
  • Excellent writing, communication, self-learning and coordination skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Full time occupation
  • EU work permit
