A top-tier legal firm with a solid reputation is searching for a Corporate & Tax Manager to provide support to the Head of Corporate Tax and Tax Partner in advising and assisting clients on tax matters, and to assist in leading and supervising a team of tax advisors. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding and practical experience with Maltese accounting and VAT laws and regulations and have experience in leading a team. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide advisory support to tax and corporate officers, focusing on legal and tax developments relevant to departmental work.

Drafting tax advice proposals, memos, and review tax advice/memos for accuracy and compliance.

Researching and analyzing complex tax issues and prepare technical reports to inform clients and internal stakeholders.

Handling prospective clients during the pre-engagement process and liaise with local tax authorities and related professional bodies.
CANDIDATE PROFILE

Solid understanding and practical experience with Maltese accounting and VAT laws and regulations.

Proven ability to lead and supervise a team, providing constructive feedback and driving performance improvements.

Emphasize client satisfaction by providing tailored tax advice and ensuring effective communication throughout the advisory process.

Maintain a high level of accuracy in drafting and reviewing tax documents to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Excellent written and spoken English.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook/Office.
