MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating corporate documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate policies.
- Support in the preparation and filing of corporate documents with regulatory authorities, such as the Registrar of Companies.
- Ensure company compliance with relevant local and international regulations.
- Assist in conducting legal research on corporate laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Provide legal support to clients on corporate matters, including company formation, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate restructuring.
- Assist in advising clients on corporate governance issues and risk management.
- Conduct due diligence investigations for corporate transactions and prepare due diligence reports.
- Assist in reviewing and analysing legal documents related to corporate deals and transactions.
- Draft and review minutes of board meetings and shareholder meetings.
- Maintain and organize corporate records and legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various corporate law issues and prepare legal memos.
- Stay updated with changes in corporate law and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with senior lawyers and other team members to support corporate legal projects.
- Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized institution. An additional qualification or specialization in corporate law is a plus.
- Post-qualification experience in corporate law or a related legal field is required.
- Experience with corporate transactions, compliance, and governance is desirable
- Strong understanding of corporate law and legal procedures.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Fluency in English and Greek is required. Proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with legal research tools and databases is a plus.
