A top-tier legal firm with a solid reputation is searching for a Corporate & Commercial Lawyer to join their team in Malta. You will be responsible for handling domestic and international transactions in the field of corporate and commercial law, providing legal advice, drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, addressing legal issues, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. The ideal candidate will have a recognised degree in Law and ideally be warranted to act as a lawyer in Malta, however the firm will also consider candidates from the EU with a solid background in this area of law. The role requires a profile with a minimum of a years’ post qualified experience. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Handle domestic and international transactions in the field of corporate and commercial law
  • Provide legal advice
  • Draft and review commercial contracts
  • Address legal issues
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Expertise in corporate and commercial law
  • Experience in handling legal issues and providing legal advice
  • Knowledge of commercial contracts drafting and review
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Versed in relevant legal research and analysis techniques
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Corporate and Commercial Lawyer (or similar role)
  • Law degree from an accredited university
  • Qualification to practice law in Malta – candidates from within the EU with a solid profile may also be considered
