On behalf of our established client with offices in multiple global locations providing a full range of management services including company formation and management, company secretarial, accounting, tax, trustee, and marine & aviation services and much more GRS are currently recruiting a Corporate Relationship Manager in Malta. In this role you will work closely with the board of directors overseeing management of important client portfolios and ensuring the company complies and operates within the regulated laws. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Administration of legal structures in various jurisdictions, including opening of bank accounts and processing of payment and/or investment instructions
  • Formation and dissolution of legal structures in various jurisdictions, including assisting with the preparation and submission of closing documents and ancillary formalities
  • Reviewing corporate governance documents, including minutes and written consents, memorandum & articles, powers of attorney and similar documents
  • Monitoring document preparation and filings with authorities in multiple jurisdictions including preparation of registration documentation
  • Assisting with the documentation of commercial transactions, including the reviewing and drafting of commercial agreements and ancillary documents, preparing summaries of key terms, and tracking the status of negotiations and the performance of contractual terms
  • Other related duties as may from time to time be reasonably required
  • Keeping informed of developments in local laws and regulations vis-à-vis Trusts, Company, Tax Law and other relevant laws to ensure that the company complies with the respective regulations for the Country
  • Uphold companies values by promoting a culture of professionalism, teamwork and equality.
  • Monitor progress and assist where required with acquisitions and reorganisation of client companies/structures; taking care and assisting in obtaining the required KYC documents required for compliance; acting as first point of contact concerning corporate matters for clients, shareholders, advisors and other interested parties and supporting the team on such matters; responsible for organisation of work (quality and quantity) of the team in order to optimise team performance; monitor team’s progress and being its first point of contact and other related matters
  • Works closely with the Senior Relationship Manager to ensure adequate support for the operations overall, enabling the functional agenda and meeting local targets.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant experience working within the Trust and Corporate Services industry, accounting, tax or audit sectors
  • Proven track record of managing portfolios of entities ultimately owned by UHNW families
  • Direct operational experience of international structures and private clients
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding expectations.
  • Ability to think outside the box, to challenge the status quo, but to do so diplomatically and in a collaborative manner
  • Culturally sensitive and experienced in dealing with multiple nationalities, business cultures
  • Ability to deal with change and to take initiative
  • Leadership skills and ability to effectively oversee the team and ensure smooth running of the team
  • Hands-on and attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude towards solving problems and ability to mentor and train own team
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills; collaborative and a team player
