On behalf of our client, a regulated corporate services provider in Malta, GRS Recruitment is seeking a Corporate Services Officer to join its team. Our client is an established Malta-based corporate services provider servicing a diverse portfolio of corporate clients across company administration, compliance, and secretarial functions. The role involves managing a portfolio of corporate entities, ensuring full compliance with Maltese company law and AML/CFT obligations, and serving as a key point of contact for client matters. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
- Maintain statutory records, registers, and minute books for a portfolio of client companies
- Prepare and file annual returns, beneficial ownership forms, and statutory filings with the Malta Business Registry
- Draft board resolutions, shareholder resolutions, and ancillary corporate documentation
- Coordinate incorporations, re-domiciliations, dissolutions, and strike-offs as required
- Assist in performing and documenting CDD and EDD in line with the PMLA and FIAU Implementing Procedures
- Maintain KYC files, risk assessments, and ongoing monitoring records for client entities
- Support the MLRO with screening, transaction monitoring, and suspicious transaction reporting
- Act as a primary point of contact for client queries on corporate maintenance and compliance matters
- Liaise with banks, auditors, notaries, and external advisors on behalf of client companies
- Coordinate with internal tax and accounting teams to support client deliverables
CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Experience in a corporate services or CSP environment in Malta
- Working knowledge of the Companies Act (Cap. 386) and Malta Business Registry requirements
- Familiarity with AML/CFT obligations under the PMLA and FIAU Implementing Procedures
- Experience preparing and filing statutory documents and maintaining company secretarial records
- Ability to manage a portfolio of client entities and meet regulatory deadlines
- Understanding of KYC/CDD processes and beneficial ownership requirements
- Relevant qualification in law, compliance, corporate governance, or a related field
- Experience supporting an MLRO function
- Exposure to MFSA regulatory filings and notifications
