MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work within the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function
  • Drive strategic financial initiatives
  • Ensure financial plans align with long-term business goals
  • Provide cost guidance and insights to executive management
  • Collaborate across departments to optimize financial performance
  • Support strategic decision-making at the highest level
  • Support planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with long-term company objectives and business strategy
  • Provide analysis and reporting to senior management, advising on critical financial decisions and ensuring alignment with corporate strategy
  • Develop and refine cost reporting models to improve operational efficiency and support high-level decision-making
  • Drive improvements in financial performance by identifying key financial drivers, risks, and opportunities for operational efficiency
CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Shipping experience required for this role
  • Extensive experience in cost controlling, budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting systems integration within the shipping industry
  • Proven expertise in budgeting and forecasting in fast-paced environments, managing large-scale projects and competing priorities
  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing large, high-performing teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other financial planning tools
  • Solid experience with vessel operating expenses, including crew costs, spares and maintenance, and dry-docking (considered a plus)
